01 A new conversation starts with one prospect record.

Select a card to read the context. This is the same Kanbus board used by Prospectus, with fictional records. Playback illustrates a connected workflow; it does not perform real sales work.

One prospect moves from New → Contacted → Qualified → Proposal → Customer success, keeping its history, owner and dated next action. Enable JavaScript to play the example and open card details.

01 / THE WORKFLOW

From first hello to what comes next.

A sale is a beginning. Prospectus keeps the relationship moving when a prospect becomes a customer or client. See how the shared record works →

Find your next conversation.

See new leads, active conversations and proposals on a shared board. Switch to a list when you want to scan the details. Search for the person or opportunity you need.

Give every relationship an owner.

Keep contact details, an assigned owner and the next follow-up date on the record. Your due follow-ups bring the conversations that need attention into one view.

Keep going after the sale.

Move the same record into customer success. Notes and history stay with it, so the next person can pick up the conversation without starting over.

OWNERNOTES + HISTORYNEXT FOLLOW-UP
The next conversation starts with the context you already have.

02 / PEOPLE + AGENTS

One shared picture of the work.

Your team works on the board. Your agents work through Kanbus’s generic issue tools and API. They can work with the same records and configured stages, instead of maintaining a second version of your pipeline.

A useful place for an agent to help.

Connect your own agent workflow to prepare notes, update a record or organize the next step. You choose its tools and permissions. Prospectus supplies the shared work model; you bring the agent.

A human keeps the context.

Owners, notes and issue history make work visible to the team. If someone changes a record while you are editing, the app asks you to reload the latest version before saving.

03 / YOUR SYSTEM

Your relationships deserve a system you control.

Prospectus is MIT-licensed open source. Inspect the code, run it yourself and adapt it to the way your business builds relationships.

Ordinary records. Flexible stages.

Underneath the CRM, a prospect is a Kanbus issue. Owners and contact details are fields; sales stages are configuration. The board and list use the same shared Kanbus components.

A path back to your own files.

The app supports a filesystem backend. Its cloud storage design keeps canonical project files in S3, with a separate query catalog. Exporting copies the project back to a folder. This is a practical foundation for moving and extending your own system.
